Omare To Okpanam Landowners: Pay Your Regularisation Fee or…
The chairman of the Okpanam Land Regularization Task Force, Frank Omare, has admonished owners of plots of land in Ogbeowelle Quarters in Okpanam, Delta State, to, in their own interest, pay the land charges imposed on them by the state government or get the house demolished.
Omare who was the immediate past commissioner for the environment gave the advice when he met with the owners of landed property in the area on Tuesday.
He also took time to field answers to questions and opinions from the land owners whose completed buildings have been marked for demolition if they failed to pay the regularisation fee.
At the meeting, the landlords appealed for further reduction on the regularization fee.
However, in his response, Omare
encouraged them to start making payments stating that if payments starts coming it will be easy to convince the Governor to give further discount.
