INCREDIBLE Reason Queen Elizabeth Does Not Want Surgery On Painful Knee
By Zoe Forsey
THE Queen might be 92, but she still leads an incredibly busy life packed with royal engagements and visits.
In the last few weeks alone she’s attended the full Royal Ascot , handed out awards to her Young Leaders, and take Meghan on her first official trip without Harry.
But despite her smiles, it seems her majesty is actually is a fair bit of pain at the moment due to an issue with her knees.
However she’s refusing to have surgery, and the reason why is just incredible and shows how committed to her work she really is.
It’s simple – she doesn’t want to take any time off and miss any of her engagements.
Speaking to the Sun , a royal source said: “She was talking to friends at the Chelsea Flower Show and said her knees were playing up.
“But she is reluctant to have an op due to the time it would take to recover. She is incredibly brave.
“People from her and Philip’s generation battle through problems and carry on. And Her Majesty doesn’t like to cause any fuss.”
We last saw her majesty when she presented the Queen’s Young Leader’s Awards at Buckingham Palace.
It’s her last year running the awards, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will take over the reins next year.
The Queen was forced to pull out of a service at St Paul’s Cathedral last week because she was feeling “under the weather”.
She was due to attend a service to mark the 200th anniversary of the Order of St Michael and St George.
Earlier this year the Queen had eye surgery to remove a cataract, but she kept it secret and still attended public events wearing sunglasses.
If untreated, the condition can cause blindness.
